Addiction Ministry

Deacon John & his wife Diane Barry are iTHIRST trained companions, certified by Seton Hall University, and board members of the Holliston Drug & Alcohol Awareness Coalition. Through their lived experience and fellowship in support systems, they have full knowledge of the Twelve Step Program and the compassion to support individuals and family members impacted by this disease. They can be reached at (508) 794-9128.

iTHIRST provides spiritual companionship for those suffering from unnatural attachments or substance use disorders, and for their loved ones. iTHIRST recognizes the spiritual dimension within the affliction of addiction, and realizing that it that cannot be met by clinical methods alone, it provides spiritual consolation and guidance from a Catholic faith perspective.
