St. Mary’s Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir is open to all interested children from 4th to 7th grade. St. Mary’s Children’s Choir sings for the 9:30 am Family Mass on selected Sundays each month and for special liturgies on Christmas, during Holy Week, for Pentecost, for the May Devotions and other feasts of the liturgical year.

Rehearsals are from 3:30-4:15 pm on Wednesdays in the lower church from September to May.

St. Mary’s Children’s Choir is affiliated to the Royal Church of Church Music in America, and participates in their Voices for Life program. After their first year in choir, members of the choir may begin work toward their Royal School of Church Music ribbons by taking weekly classes and individual training. After reaching a level of competency, they receive a ribbon award that showcases their achievement! The awarding of each ribbon represents the successful completion of specific requirements in the areas of music, liturgy, and spiritual life.
