As we are past the registration date for 2025/2026 year, please call us directly if you are new to St. Mary’s and need to enter the program mid-year.

Registering for Religious Education Classes

Registered families receive a Religious Education packet each year and we utilize an online registration process.   The packet outlines the program and answers many frequently asked questions. We encourage you to review this information before beginning the Online Registration Process to select a class that works for your family and to understand your family’s costs and payment options. Class schedules noted below may need to be amended if we do not have the requisite interest or volunteer teachers.

Grade level content is also explained on the About our Program page.

Volunteer to Teach

We encourage any adult practicing Catholic to consider supporting our program by becoming a teacher, or a monitor, or a grade coordinator. Our needs are shown in the Volunteer Registration form and in the Religious Education packet. Teens may also volunteer to team teach with an adult over the age of 21.

  • If you’ve never taught we provide the structure to support you and we also encourage teaching with a friend in a team format.
  • Our pre-K and K program is a new Montessori-style curriculum and requires additional training. See the program’s page for more information.
  • Our Confirmation program format is a large group setting with small-group breakout sessions which provides significant support for teachers of these teenagers.

Volunteers are asked to complete the online form as it addresses the special compliance requirements for religious ed teachers and saves you a trip to our office.

All Volunteers should also use the Volunteer Compliance page to ensure that you are in compliance with our Safety Policies.
