Teens Gather in Faith

Welcome to TGIF!

TGIF is a place for ALL high school teens to belong, be themselves, and grow in faith, together. We have teens from other faiths, teens who do not have faith tradition, teens who attend public school and teens who attend private school, and teens from Holliston, Franklin, Medway, Hopkinton and Ashland. 

You don’t need all the answers. You just need to show up. 

This is a community where friendships matter, faith is real, and teens help shape what the ministry looks like.  Alongside their amazing adult leaders they will grow into who God calls them to be!

Our Mission:

We help teens grow as disciples of Jesus through community, faith, and service, in ways that are meaningful, welcoming, and fun.

COMMUNITY

TGIF is built on real relationships. 

Our monthly large-group meetings are relaxed, welcoming, and full of energy.

Expect games, food and laughter in an inclusive safe space that feels like home. 

We also host fun social outings like TopGolf, escape rooms, and ropes courses, tubing, bowling and you’ll see TGIF teens showing up at school events, sports games, and town activities, bringing joy wherever we go.

FAITH

Faith isn’t meant to stay in a book. At TGIF, we talk about how it actually fits into your life.

• • Each meeting includes a relatable faith message and you may hear from a guest speaker about their journey in faith.
  • During Advent and Lent, we offer seasonal studies that give teens space to reflect, slow down, and grow deeper in their faith.
  • Many of our TGIF teens choose to attend daily Mass together on no-school days and during the summer and at weekly Masses you’ll often see full pews of TGIF teens attending together. 

LOVE IN ACTION (SERVICE)

Faith is meant to be lived.

TGIF teens are encouraged to share ideas for service projects and ways to help others.

Together, we look for ways to bring God’s love into our community and beyond.

Service opportunities have included:

• • Christmas caroling and bingo at nursing homes
  • Writing letters to incarcerated men and women
  • Volunteering at local assisted living facilities
  • Collecting items for Holliston Pantry Shelf and Catholic Charities in Milford
  • Making bagged lunches for shelters and St. Michael’s medals for local fire and police departments

Mission Trips

The summer mission trip is often the most meaningful experience of the year.

This is a week-long trip that combines service, community, daily Mass, prayer and reflection, and Reconciliation.

Since 2005, TGIF has served in places like Mississippi, Jamaica, Texas, Florida, Vermont, and New Jersey, completing projects such as home repairs, ramp building, painting, landscaping, and serving in shelters and camps.
