Founded in 1983, this group ministers to persons twenty one and older with special needs. The group provides opportunities for prayer, friendship, socializing, and support for our special needs friends and their families. In many ways, the Special Needs Group itself has become an extended family.
Meetings
The Group gathers the first Tuesday of every month October through May, from 6:30 – 7:30 PM in the Parish Library. These monthly meetings consist of a faith lesson, prayer, and life sharing. They are open to families, and are informal, warm, and welcoming. Often the meeting concludes with light refreshments. In addition to monthly meetings, the Special Needs Group hosts several social events throughout the year, including an annual Halloween Party, Karaoke Night, etc.
